At 5am Sunday, January 22, 2017, our friend Cynthia Walker was victim of a home invasion. A man broke into her home and brutally assaulted and robbed her. Her 12 year old daughter was home and witnessed the attack. Cynthia was taken to the hospital by ambulance and examined. She has extensive cuts and bruises, dental and jaw damage, and had to have stitches in several places, Her dental work alone is going to be around $7,000 if not more. Not to mention the extensive medical bills - just the many co-pays alone, from the hospital, orthopedic doctors, and several different dentists is going to mount up fast. Plus counseling bills for both herself and her daughter is going to be another huge bill. Please donate even just a few dollars to help. Cynthia is a single parent, she works two jobs to help give herself and her daughter a good life. She is a wonderful person and friend and we just want to help her to be able to pay these mounting bills and have a little less financial worry and stress on her during this traumatic time. There are victims advocate groups that do help in situations like this but it takes months and months to receive help and she needs some help now. We can't take away the pain and horror that she has been through. But this is something we can do. Please donate to help her get through this tough time.
