Help for Dad!
Donation protected
Hello,
As many of you know, our dad Craig was in a terrible accident. He saved two little boys from a fire that started at the home of his fiance in Lincoln City. He was rushed to the LC hospital, they intubated him and he was put on a ventilator. Dad has 50% of his body covered in 3rd degree burns. This includes his back, head, face, arms, and hands. They are very deep burns. He has a 2nd degree inhalation injury to his lungs. He is heavily sedated, and they are doing their best to keep him comfortable. Due to the nature of his burns, they are anticipating close to 2 months on the unit, and then many months of recovery after that. He is fighting. It is day by day. He is holding his own, but he is still in a very fragile state.
We are trying to keep his life together as much as possible. The family and I have been taking care of little things for him, but we are limited to what we can do. We are doing this fundraiser in hopes that when he gets out, the place he calls home will still be there. We want to try and ensure that when he gets through this, that he is not stressing and that he can focus on getting better. He is so deserving of this.
I realize that times are VERY tough for all. We are so incredibly grateful for all who have reached out to help. Whether it includes prayers, positive thoughts, or even just showing you all care by asking about him. No donation is too small. We love you all and appreciate you riding through this with dad.
Thank you,
Kristy
