Meta alcanzada! Gracias! Heart Surgery for Gabriel

Hi, my name is Claudia and I'm fundraising to cover a Heart Surgery for Gabriel, my oldest son. I'm living in NYC with my youngest son and Gabriel is our country, Peru. We wanted to fly there and be with him for the surgery, but everything develop very quickly and being short on money, tickets to Peru in high season are not possible.

 

Gabriel has suffered from tachycardia for several years, but this last year they became more frequent and severe, affecting his quality of life. After the last episode at the end of October, he hardly leaves the house for fear as he feels fragile. The doctors agreed that it is time to operate on him,  because the medicines are no longer helping him.

 

The procedure is called Cardiac Ablation and it will be performed this Wednesday, December 15th. The medical insurance is covering only 65% of the surgery. I'm fundraising to cover the rest of the procedure.
