Hello my name is Joanie and I am starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine.

Cortney Gay has very recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. Currently she is at the University of Minnesota starting Chemotherapy treatment. They are stating that she will be inpatient for several weeks if not a month or more.

This literally came out of nowhere and now her life is turned upside down like anyone with a diagnosis like this.

Cortney is a Mother to 4 children and has a new granddaughter.

She has been a dedicated employee of the MN Department of Corrections for over 16 years as an officer and a Case Manager.

With her missing a great deal of work and bills piling up, we need to send her some support.

Please consider helping her out through this difficult journey she is embarking on.
