Help for Colette Walter NP

Hi, my name is Lizzy & Im creating this for my good friend Colette. I’m not sure where to begin but I am reaching out for help on behalf of Colette Walter & her husband Pat & their family.

Everyone who knows Colette, knows her as an amazing person who would do anything for anyone, a spit-fire, an amazing provider with a big heart & full of knowledge.

In June she became ill with what she had feared- the awful Covid. Since then she has battled & battled the virus but by the end of July her husband reached out to me to do a home visit as she was becoming very sick. As you all know, Collette is very stubborn & since she owns her own practice, she does not have health insurance, which is why she didn’t go get the treatment she needed. When I saw her, I immediately sent her to the ER & she has been hospitalized for the past 2 months & is currently in critical condition. The infection has spread throughout her body & she is now septic & the infection has spread to her spinal fluid & her brain & she is currently fighting for her life.

Colette has been a family provider for so many people in our community & she has done so much for everyone, without asking for anything in return. Now it’s our turn to help her & her family as she has been in the hospital with her husband by her side & they have both been out of work with no income. The medical bills are piling up. If you know Colette, you know she would never ask for help, but I personally know her struggle as I have been involved throughout this awful battle. Please help her & her family in this time of need & if you can’t donate, please pray for her to fully recover so she can return to doing what she loves to do- taking care of her patients.
