We’re raising money to help our friend Marie and her family save Coco — a much-loved, highly trained autism service dog who has been a true lifeline.
Out of the blue, Coco has been diagnosed with a rare pancreatic condition (EPI) affecting less than 1% of dogs. She is also unable to absorb protein, has kidney issues, suspected inflammatory bowel disease, and painful calcification in her hind legs. Vets believe an underlying autoimmune condition is the cause.
Although Coco is insured, the entire policy limit was used in just one week on emergency hospitalisation, scans, blood tests, surgery, and specialist advice. She now needs lifelong medication and specialist renal food to survive.
Medication alone will cost £400–£500 every month, not including ongoing tests, scans, and physio. Once the insurance cap is reached, Marie will be covering 100% of all future costs.
Marie has spent years helping others. Now she needs our help.
If you’re able to donate — even a small amount — you’ll be helping keep Coco comfortable, cared for, and where she belongs: with the family who loves her. Please donate or share if you can.
