As most of you know, Cindi was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has a tumor in her throat that is very close to her voicebox. If the cancer has spread to the voicebox, she will have to have it removed and will have a trach and feeding tube for the rest of her life. Of course, she and Eddie are very scared! She will be having surgery in Morgantown on Tuesday, August 15 followed by many weeks of radiation. Her recovery time will be long and challenging.

Eddie is planning to take a few weeks off work to care for Cindi. There will be many trips back and forth to Morgantown and to her radiation treatments. While Eddie is off work he won't be getting paid. He is the only source of income they have so this time off will be hard on them financially, not to mention the medical bills they will have. It's hard enough to deal with the worry of cancer, but adding financial worries to it makes it even harder.

As we all know, Cindi & Eddie have had a rough couple of years and now with this diagnosis, it only makes the stress and worry harder to cope with.

Even if you can't help financially, just whisper a prayer for Cindi that her surgery goes well and she heals quickly. Cindi & Eddie appreciate all the prayers they can get right now.
