Help for Cheryl Baehr and Nellie

If you are lucky enough to know my friend Cheryl Baehr, you know how kind and generous she is. She would drop everything to help someone in need. Now she needs us. Cheryl experienced the unthinkable on Wednesday morning when her dog Nellie got loose from her house.

Nellie is a 20 month-old Newfoundland who we recused back in May. She's the biggest ball of energy and love and she is obsessed with her big sister, Chloe the Great Pyrenees. On November 11th, she got out of the yard and was shot by someone in the jaw, chest and back leg. Unfortunately, the vet is unable to save her leg, and she will have to have it amputated. They assure us that she will adapt, and we are excited to love her as the sweet lady that she is. However, the bills are pretty hefty. Surgery and vet care are estimated at $3000, which is a heavy lift considering our current financial situation. Any help is appreciated!
