Help for Cathy Wells's family
Donation protected
On Friday March 12, 2021 a very special family to Brianna and I received the worst news ever. Cissy and Little Stu received a knock on the door around 1:00 am Saturday morning only to find the coroner and a cop standing there. He then told them that their mother had been hit by a truck on Veterans Parkway and did not survive. At that moment their world changed forever as did all of ours. Cissy called and Bri and I headed over immediately. As we pulled up the coroner was still standing there as they were waiting on Stuart, their father, to arrive. As I saw the pain in Cathy's kids eyes, I realized it was real. They had just lost their mother. Not only did they lose their mother they lost her in the most tragic way you could imagine. Just one week prior we buried Aunt Sue who was a great asset to this family and like a mother to Cissy. For those that don't know Cissy is Brianna's best friend, her ride or die and her sister from another mother. Cissy is also like a daughter to me and Little Stu is the son I never had.
Unfortunately Cathy did not have any insurance and lived on very minimum income. As we sat there after the coroner left and talked for hours and notified other family members of course you have to think of the next steps. Cissy had just planned Aunt Sue's funeral and here she was again to plan her mother's funeral. With all of this being said Cissy asked to start a Go Fund Me for some help. I immediately told her I would handle it to take some pain and pressure off.
So here I am asking for any help. No amount is too small and any amount is GREATLY appreciated. Cissy and Little Stu will go tomorrow as a 19 year old and a 21 year old and plan their mother's funeral. I pray that we can take some stress and pain away with a donation. I am going to say thank you in advance for all the help and again no amount is too small and it is ALL appreciated more than you will ever know.
Also please keep this family in your prayers as we walk these hard time ahead.
