Help for Catherine and Mark

Hi, my name is Jessica and my sister Jennifer and I are organizing this fundraiser to assist our mother Cathy and our stepfather, Mark.

Anyone who has had cancer touch their life or the lives of those they love, know, without a doubt how difficult the journey can be. The never ending appointments, treatments, having to travel for those treatments, missing countless days at work, it never ends. The journey takes a toll, and often in more ways then we care to admit.

Marks journey has been no different. While the news that his last surgery and round of chimo was a success, this wonderful news was short lived. Cathy and Mark, once again find themselves travelling out of town multiple times a week in order to receive necessary radiation therapy. With another surgery on the horizon and Mark soon to be unable to work temporarily, we find ourselves looking for solutions in order to ease the burden that will be placed upon Cathy and Mark.

Our mother and stepfather are two of the most caring people we have ever met and would stop at nothing to help a friend in need. Mom always taught us to treat others the way you would want to be treated. So here we are asking to please help us ease this burden for Cathy and Mark, while they travel this journey together, as they no doubt would do, and have done for others.
