Help for Carolyn and Richie (Moose)

Dear friends and family,

I have created this GoFundMe for 2 individuals that are very special to a lot of us. Some of you know and most of you don't, our beloved Richie (Moose) Canzano, was diagnosed back in January with a very aggressive thyroid cancer that only 2% of people get. Moose has completed 10 weeks of chemo and radiation. During that time, Moose almost succumbed to the horrendous and agonizing treatment. Luckily for all of us, the doctor's were able to bring him back. He now has a tracheotomy and feeding tube, requiring 24/7 care, which Carolyn provides. She had to learn how to properly care for the wounds and how to administer the necessary nutrients to keep him alive. She is a total rockstar! But, we already knew that!

This is not easy for them to admit because they are very proud people. Carolyn and Moose need our help. For months, they have been trying to handle things on their own and with the help of family. They have exhausted all their funds and are doing everything possible to get by. Due to the constant care needed and circumstances that exist, both Carolyn and Moose are unable to work and support the household. A few weeks ago, I asked Carolyn how she was holding up financially, and she said they are taking things day by day. That's when I knew I had to step in and help.
