Help for Cancer Treatment For My Mom's Health

Hello anyone who's reading this, I am Deja's son and I am trying to start this fundraiser for my mom.

My mom had been feeling unwell for the past several months but just like her she would push through it. On July 12th 2025 she went into the ER and was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. The doctors had let us know the cancer had spread to her lungs and liver, and that surgery was needed immediately to remove the tumor.

2 Days later she had surgery that removed about 8-9 inches of her sigmoid colon. Her recovery was rough she was in tremendous amounts of pain and was even hospitalized 3 more times from complications from surgery. She just started the first round of chemo that will last till the end of spring next year. The doctors say they will go from there. Even while going through all of this she would still try and get up and make sure I was ok just like her old self.

My mom is restless and could never take a break for her own self just cause she is so determined and strong willed. Even while taking care of me and my older brother, as a single mother she could do it all with a smile on her face, and always put us over her. Even while she's going through this she is still trying to remain positive and keep life normal for us.

She's been my rock, and now I want to be her's. She has done so much for me and my brother that I cannot stand by and let her go through this alone, nor should she struggle through any of this.

That's why I decided to try and make this gofundme. I am not usually one to ask for help (neither does my mom) but between costs of normal living, cancer treatments, and cancer medicine it all adds up very quickly.
