Every parent’s worst nightmare, on February 7th at just after 8pm 14-year-old Caden was struck by a vehicle while walking to the store. He has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury; his lungs aren’t working properly, and he is currently fighting for his life-on-life support in the PICU at the IWK in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Caden’s Mom Sindi is the most selfless, loving and caring person. She has already faced great Trauma with her Daughter Maci who had a life-threatening heart defect requiring emergency surgery at Sick Kids in Toronto in 2017. She now finds herself once again holding her child’s hand not knowing what the future holds.
The road is going to be long for Caden and his family, with so many unknows. We want Sindi to be able to focus on Caden and nothing else by making sure they are taken care of financially. Every penny counts and every share helps. All funds will be used for housing, food, and whatever else might come up.
