I am Britton's mom. He was originally diagnosed April 2021 with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He successfully finished treatment last year and improved. On January 7th we received the news that he had relapsed. In that, his team of Doctors at MUSC reclassified his diagnosis to Nodular Lymphocyte-Predominate Hodgkins Lymphoma. Big words for explaining he has the rarest form of Lymphoma.

Starting Monday he will have inpatient chemotherapy for 5 days over 2-4 cycles and then a stem cell transplant which will keep him in the hospital 4-6 weeks. I am a single mom who has successfully raised 3 wonderful children with no child support or any other assistance. But I am asking for help now. I will be on intermittent FMLA from work so I can stay with him in the hospital. FMLA means no pay for a week every cycle. I have already had out of pockets costs thanks to the new insurance year. Eating in the hospital cafeteria is expensive. Under normal circumstances I would be fine, but I also support one child in college and have a senior graduating this year and heading off to school as well.

A friend encouraged me to do this, cause everyone needs help. Well that is us right now. Every little bit is helpful, but if you can't a prayer is just as good. Thank you so much, and God Bless.
