Help for Brittany’s final chapter.

I am setting up this GOFundMe page for my sister Jordona (Jorje). This is one of the hardest posts I have ever had to write.

My sister Jordona recently returned to work after a year of fighting a difficult battle with breast cancer, which set her back physically and financially, but not spiritually.  Jordona’s faith, like her outlook never waivered.  But on the heels of that victory, she now faces a much more painful challenge. Losing a child. There is no greater pain for a parent.

Jordona’s daughter (my niece) Brittany Morgan Stout, lies in the hospital  as her body is painfully shutting down.  No parent should ever have to sit vigil as their child is losing such a horrific fight and give permission to “let go”.  This is our family’s worst nightmare.

Brittany is a little sister to Christopher, a niece to many aunts and uncles, a granddaughter, a cousin, and a friend,  who would give you the last bite of her “Bagel”.

Like her mother, Brittany never met a stranger. She could light up the room with her witty personality and contagious laugh. She has lived her short life as a fun, spontaneous, talented, feisty, strong young woman, with a big heart.

As Brittany’s body prepares itself for the final days of life, her angel wings are growing strong. While her life light dims, her fiery spirit will live on in all of us who love her.

There's nothing we can do to ease the pain of losing a child, but we can help. It seems unfair that after this heart-wrenching loss, even as Jordona grieves, there will be very real expenses that must be paid,. She will need  help to pay the medical & funeral expenses, loss of wages, and the celebration of life she hopes to hold for Brittany-adorned with her favorite Ballerina flowers.

If you can help financially, please do. But even if you can’t, please keep this family in prayer as they go through this difficult time.

I thank you in advance for your help. Any amount will help and be deeply appreciated.  May God bless you and keep you well!
