There are people in this world that never meet a stranger, Brian Rosenblatt is definitely one of those people. Once a friend always a friend.  Brian is engaged to our sister Angel (Angel Brown Jett) and our hope is to support them through this very difficult time.

As many of you know, Angel and Brian both became very ill with Covid the first week of October and while Angel did eventually recover Brian became progressively ill, was hospitalized and has been on life support for over 2 months now.  During the course of his hospitalization he continued to decline despite being on a ventilator and all of the recommended treatment, everything stopped working and a lung rescue team was flown in to save him.  He was then placed on ECMO and stat flighted out of state to a level 1 trauma center. There have been many challenges and set backs. Each procedure/surgery came with new issues and different strains of infections and complications.

We are finally pointed in the right direction and he has optimistically survived against the odds of having Cancer, leukemia and Covid. There is a very long road that still lies ahead and due to the severity of lung damage and complete physical deconditioning we now understand that he will require several more weeks to wean off of the hemolung and the ventilator along with extensive physical, occupational and speech therapy he will need to recovery.

We have been incredibly blessed as so many family, friends, and colleagues have helped both financially and in prayers.  The donations covered the many weeks of out of state travel for our sister Angel to be at his side which also required unpaid leave from her job. The funds were used to cover many expenses of his office including building rent, equipment lease, staffing cost, vendor and supplier cost, practice insurance and self pay medical insurance for Brian and staff.  The donations were additionally used for all the expenses of their home and associated cost.  If you can imagine trying to maintain a business and your home with months of no income.

Due to the extenuating circumstances and prolonged hospitalization help is still greatly needed to continue to meet theses needs,  In addition there will be an incredible balance after insurance pays as well as a limit to therapy coverage. These are two of the most loving and giving people who have tragically had their love story interrupted.  We hope that you can find it in your hearts to give and equally as important share the post and tell their story so that it may grow.

Remember this December that love weighs more than gold.

Sincerely the sisters of Angel
Stephanie Davis and Brooke Brown
