Braden had to have emergency surgery to save his life. He went to the Emergency Department septic and hypoxic when they rushed him into surgery. He had a ruptured appendix and two holes in his bowel. He crashed during surgery and had to be ventilated quickly. He pulled through. He is still septic and not out of the woods yet. He will have a very long healing road ahead and won't be able to work for, more than likely, months. They aren't able to close his incision, so he will need medical care when sent home. He has worked since he was a teenager. He has worked at FedEx for six years and worked his way up to a manager's position. He went to work Saturday with the ruptured appendix, thinking it was food poisoning. He has always had a strong work ethic, so no one was surprised when he went to work at the brink of literal death. Braden will be needing help with medical bills and home care when he is released. Anything will be helpful. He has done so much for others, and I want to help ease his financial struggle he will be going through for the next few months.
