Help for Brad Smith during Stroke recovery

Brad Smith suffered a stroke sometime during the early morning hours of 1/11. He had gone out for a few drinks with a friend Friday night. When he woke up Saturday morning, something was really wrong. He was seeing double, unable to walk without leaning to one side, disoriented, and just wasn’t making sense to his wife, Cheryl. Hamilton hospital couldn’t determine what exactly was wrong, so they transported him to Crouse in Syracuse. After a few tests, it was determined that Brad has had not one, but four strokes. The Doctors couldn’t determine when they were. Just that a couple of them could have been years ago. At this point, they haven’t figured out what has caused these strokes. Brad is still in the hospital, awaiting more testing. He is only able to see double. Without his vision, he can’t drive, therefore won’t be able to work construction to feed his family. We are all hopeful that he will regain his vision soon, but there is no way of knowing when that will happen. Unfortunately, Brad doesn’t have insurance at this time. With the loss of income, and what is expected to be a very expensive hospital bill, we are asking you to open your heart and wallets to help Brad, Cheryl, and their 4 children during this time. As you know, Brad has worked hard his entire life and has never asked for help from anyone. We are hoping to lessen the financial burden a bit, and to keep Brad as stress free as possible right now.
