Blessing Needs Our Help

Blessing was found cruelly abandoned -- chained to a chainlink fence on a back-country road near San Jose. She had been without food, water, and shelter. She endured sweltering temperatures during the day and frigid, cold at night. She had severe ulcerations around her eyes. All four paws were bloody, and chunks of her fur and skin were falling off. She was covered in ticks and needed to be sedated to have them removed.

As soon as she came to the shelter she was sent to the vet where she was hospitalized for five days while she was evaluated.

She has been diagnosed with: ulcerative dermatitis, thickens intestines, bilateral KCS (dry eyes), and several types of anemia, she had infections and pus coming out of all four paws.
She is approximately four years old and despite being in such poor physical health she had a bright outlook. She is in foster with an experienced medical foster and showing progress.
Her initial diagnosis, treatment, and follow up care (which includes several daily medications) her care has cost $2,350.00. We are now running a week long fundraiser to cover her vet costs from Friday the 28th to July 5th!
With your help, Blessing will be on her journey to a loving home!

Any funds raised that are not used for medical care for this dog will go towards medical services for one of our other dogs.
