My 15 year old daughter Arieanna has been struggling with mental health illness since age 8. Things have progressively gotten worse and her father made known to her he didn’t want a part in her life , that is when I seen things drastically go downhill for her. She has refused medication and has had run ins with the law. She has been at a shelter for teens for the last six months. I have had to attend court for her every 2 weeks since then. Along with court dates, I’m struggling with the extreme stress of all this I have had a lot of missed work. The judge granted a 30 day psychiatric evaluation . The results were That she has
Borderline personality disorder, ADHD, odd, and Bipolar disorder.
With these results The judge ordered her to a treatment facility. There is a wait list so she continues to stay at shelter care. The state is now garnishing my wages and I owe $15,000 for her stay there. Her father does not help financially so this falls solely on me.
This has been the hardest few months of my life. I love my daughter and want her to have the help she needs and DESERVES. I appreciate any help that anyone can offer.
