Help for Bills and Mortgage,

With the death of my father in March, the loss of my job in April, and recently getting back into work while trying to catch up on bills, taking over a mortgage, and paying off other debts, life has just gotten to the point where I need a little help.

I have prior credit card bills and the mortgage coming up next month, and I'm unfortunately not going to have enough to make one, or the other, with the credit card bills having already being late as can be. I understand, sounds like another sob story on the internet of "Oh, I'm broke, give me money," And you aren't entirely wrong. I'm stretched about as thin as I can possibly be, and I'm trying to not loose my home while also taking care of my mother, who is doing everything in her power to help, but retirement checks don't exactly go far.

Why two thousand dollars? Will let me get my shit sorted, payments caught up, renew registration for my car and repair a part that has gone out on it so I can get emissions on it, and a couple hundred dollars left over to start sticking into savings and let me rebuild a nest in case of emergencies.

I'm not one to ask for shit like this. It feels degrading, but quite frankly, I have little to no options left. Most of my family and friends is either out of state, struggling with their own finances, or just unable to help with this sort of situation. I'm to the point where I'm ready to sell what little belongings of value I have left, but even then it wouldn't get me far. So, I'm taking to the internet to ask strangers for help where they can.
