Benny was seriously injured in a vicious and unprovoked attack in our home by another dog Monday May 17th. The owner said he would pay all costs but has fled in fear with his dog and now I’m stuck with the bills. Out of pocket costs so far are $1700 which has put a significant strain on finances and he still has a long way to go in his recovery. Possibly more surgery, more meds including anxiety pills because he now has PTSD, X-rays, bloodwork etc. I do have pet insurance but it does not provide 100% coverage. Every little bit helps.
