Help for Ben Heatons family.

Hi we are Higginshaw ARFLC and we are trying to get as much money together for Ben Heatons family at this distressing time, we are trying to fundraise to help with the cost of the funeral or to at least take some strain off his family at this heartbreaking time.

A little bit about Ben.

Heaton started his career with Oldham before joining Halifax in the Betfred Championship. While at Halifax, he spent time on loan with the Batley Bulldogs.

In October 2018, Heaton signed a one-year deal with League 1 club Hunslet.

In September 2020, Heaton returned to former club Oldham in the RFL Championship. In 2022, he joined local amateur club, Higginshaw.

While at our club Higginshaw he pushed us to new levels, had a fantastic first season getting top try scorer and helping Higginshaw lift their first big trophy for years, he touched all our hearts and we are devastated.

But what we all know is we loved Ben for who he was, Happy, Smiling and just a great guy to be around, please if you can and we know how hard times are at the moment, but any kind of donation would be amazing.

This money will be donated to his Partner Debi to do as she pleases with the funds and to help her with funeral costs and herself, we hope this will help her out in this awful situation.
