Hi all, my name is Alison Harlow and I am writing on behalf of my good friend Becca (40 yrs. old), whom as of December 2022 has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. As of now it is considered stage 0-non invasive but upon recent findings, through an MRI, it has now been determined that despite being at an early stage she will need to undergo a mastectomy. Though difficult, Becca has chosen to do a double mastectomy due to a spot that also appears on the left breast, and for future risk factors. Stage 0 is its current number, which we are grateful for, but more testing will be done in regards to its progress. We are hoping and trusting in God that neither chemo or radiation will be needed. Surgery date still TBD.

During this time, and with everything that’s involved it could take at least 12 weeks for her to recover. Although she will be out of work, she knows that God will supply everything she needs. Some expenses we’d love to help her with include anything that insurance doesn’t cover such as medical bills (surgery, possible reconstruction if she chooses, other imaging and tests) and normal everyday finances (rent, food, bills etc).
