Some of you know Bayley, some of you don't.  He's been a fixture in our community for many years, doing work behind the scenes and in the trenches.  He was a founder of Spearhead and a guy who never loses his cool, is always approachable and probably the best mediator we all know.  He's as selfless as they come and has never asked for anything in return.  

Bayley's wife was recently diagnosed with tongue cancer was completed an operation to remove that cancer.  Unfortunately, she had to have most of her tongue removed and reconstructed.  Additionally, given the possibility that it may have spread, she will be undergoing a likely 6-month chemotherapy treatment.  Those of us who have had loved ones go with chemo know that it can take a toll on both the patient and their loves ones.  She's unfortunately developed some other medical issues while in the hospital receiving treatment which will also take their toll. 

Overall, the prognosis for her recovery looks very promising and good, but it's going to be a long road.  Besides the work Bayley does for this community, he's also a stay-at-home Dad who's been taking care of his children selflessly as his wife has advanced her career.  Now Bayley, without a lot of help, has taken on the mantle of also taking care of his wife.  

Unfortunately, all of this has taken it's financial toll on him and his family.  Bayley would never ask for help and he'll never need too.  Because that's what we do, we take care of our own.  Your donations will help cover their large medical expenses, Bayley's transportation and other associated fee's with visiting his wife in the hospital (she's currently in the hospital not near their home) and whatever else they think they can use the money for.  

Bayley has given selflessly to us all over these years, never asking for anything in return.  It's time to repay that favor.
