Update 2/5/25: Stevie Mae is having a bunch of testing for a variety of reasons. She is up at Stanford, and Theo and Bailey haven’t left her side. They are staying in Palo Alto and waiting for results. Stevie is doing really well and is extra cute! We have been getting them a hotel up there, trying to reserve the Go Fund Me for regular bills since neither of them can work right now. But clearly they might be out of work longer than anticipated with these added stressors, and the costs of living away from home can really pile on. Please send love to their whole sweet little family, and please donate if you can. Every little bit helps. Theo, Bay, and Stevie Mae, you have lots of love and community to hold you up. ❤️
Update 1/27/25: Stevie Mae is coming even earlier than anticipated: today- at 32+ weeks!! Thank you for all the donations thus far, this will be super helpful while Stevie Mae is in the NICU for a couple months. Bailey is so strong, and Theo is being an awesome supportive partner. ❤️
As I was preparing to compose something postponing their baby shower, I decided that it would be a good idea to start a Go Fund Me for Theo and Bailey. They are in the hospital because Bailey developed severe pre-eclampsia at 31 weeks. She will be in the hospital until she delivers little Miss Stevie Mae, and Theo is right there by her side 24/7. Their level of love, consideration, and good-question-asking is being marveled at by all of the nurses.
Bailey will be induced no later than 34 weeks, and Stevie Mae will likely be in the NICU until close to her mid-March due date.
As you can imagine, with both of them being away from work it will be challenging to make rent and other bills, so it would be nice to at least decrease one of their stressors. If you’d like to donate towards this, it would be much appreciated. They are also registered at Target and Amazon under Bailey Lopez or Theo Sheltz. Baby Shower TBD at a later date. Please send love and well-wishes their way; they are a truly strong and impressive young couple and Stevie Mae surely holds those same traits. Thanks in advance.
