This weekend has been one of the toughest times of my life since my father passed away 4 years ago. My cat Ashley, who I saved as a stray 9 years ago, has been an integral part of my family, was recently diagnosed on April 15th with an aggressive form of lung cancer. Ashley was taken to the West Los Angeles VCA Hospital where she has undergone various blood tests, scans/exams, ultrasounds and fluid removal. Along with other procedures, medications, and fluid replacements. The doctors at the West LA VCA Hospital say that her prognosis is poor and chemotherapy and surgery would be futile and would only give her an additional few weeks to two months to live. After two nights at the animal hospital I decided to take Ashley home with me to make her most comfortable in the little time she has with us. I am kindly asking for any donations of any amount that can assist in covering the medical expenses I have incurred. Me and my mother would really appreciate the help for Ashley. I feel all alone during this time and I welcome any advice, prayers, and help during this difficult time. I pray and hope that I don't lose her soon and that I have a few months with her. I can't lose another family member.
Sincerely, Richard R.
