Help for April, Ava & Farrah after a tragic house fire
Donation protected
Sadly on Sunday March 2, 2025 April Scott received a phone call nobody ever wants to get. Her and her two daughters home was on fire. April was at work and the girls were both at their Dad’s house (Aaron MacNeil) but their two beloved beautiful family dogs were home and did not survive.
April unfortunately did not have home insurance. Times are tough these days for everyone in today’s economy and sadly many people don’t have home insurance.
As you can imagine even if anything is saved from the home the water and smoke damage will likely result in not much being salvaged. The 16 foot long hole in the roof was tarped up today along with some other spots while cleanup commences to see if anything can be salvaged including any parts of the structure itself but the damage is extensive and the smoke and water damage severe.
PEI has always been full of kind, caring people especially when crisis hits & many beautiful souls have already helped with funds, donations of clothing and offers of help and to all of you thank you so very much.
If you can help thank you in advance for your generosity & kindness, even if it’s only $5 it all adds up and with no insurance even if any part of the structure can be saved the cost to do so and replace all their belongings is unimaginable. If you are not in a position to help that’s ok too simply keep April, Ava & Farrah in your thoughts & prayers during this difficult time & spread the word.
If anyone has any other offers of assistance they are pretty overwhelmed right now but you’re welcome to contact me (Natasha McCarron on Facebook) or contact me through this page.
PEI is an amazing place full of beautiful souls that care deeply for its neighbours and April & the girls extend their heartfelt gratitude to such an outpouring of love. ❤️
