Dear family & friends, as some of you may know our Sister Diane passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the age of 49 at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. Diane was a single loving mother who lived alone in Southern California with her two boys in a small 1-bedroom apartment.
Diane was a struggling mother who did manage to save a little money for a rainy day, but not nearly enough to cover the financial burden of helping her son's rebuild their lives without her.
Diane and her oldest son, Anthony were diagnosed with Covid-19 at the beginning of February. Anthony was admitted into the ICU on Friday, February 12th. Because of his preexisting conditions he was having complications. Anthony has MS and is a diabetic. Then in the early morning hours of Monday, February 15th, the unthinkable happens and their Mom Diane dies of cardiac arrest due to COVID-19. Our family is devastated.
Their little family of three had been in quarantine because of the positive test they received, her youngest son Luis age 19 is at home alone when he learns the news that his Mom, who just left in an ambulance has been pronounced dead. Leaving him to deliver the shocking news to her family in Colorado. Again, due to COVID he cannot have physical contact with anyone. And due to Anthony’s delicate health risks and him being in the ICU, the doctors have asked that the family wait until he is 100% healthy to deliver the shocking news about his Mom’s passing. Anthony’s mom was his primary caregiver and his whole world!
The goal of this go-fund-me is to raise enough funds to help with moving cost to get the boys moved from Southern California to Colorado, and re-establish their lives. We would like to thank everyone who helps in advance, and we appreciate your kindness and generosity.
