Help for Annie's medical treatment

Hi everyone! As Shanna and her family celebrate sweet Annie turning 2 they are also preparing for another trip to Ohio to continue follow up for Annie’s Hirchsprungs disease. As many of you know and have so generously and kindly supported visits in the past, since her first procedure at 11 days old, Annie has had 4 surgeries and 5 hospital stays to help maintain her health and keep as much as her independence as possible. This upcoming trip to the Children’s Hospital in Ohio will be for three weeks, entail several intensive labs and procedures to determine if Annie’s colon is viable or needs to be removed. They are certain of at least one surgery taking place and depending on the tests completed over the three weeks, Annie may need to undergo four surgeries in one day. As you can imagine the emotional toll this has on a loving family it will also require a dire financial burden. Not only will they have to prepare for a strenuous journey to Ohio, ensuring their vehicle is equipped with proper tires, mechanical support and maintenance as well as being away from their home for that time, they will also need to wear the financial burden of supporting the needs of their family while on the go.
