Help for Angie's Medical Expenses

Hi. My name is Sarah. My daughter's name is Angie. Two weeks ago Angie was attacked by an ex-partner which resulted in her jaw being broken. Angie had emergency surgery to fix her jaw. It required 2 plates, many screws, and her jaw to be wired shut for 8 weeks. Her surgery was performed at a hospital in Memphis, 3 hours away from our home. Shawn and I live on a very fixed income and the three trips, hotel costs, gas costs, and costs of Angie's special drinks has put us in a very large bind. We are raising money so that Angie can continue to receive her special drinks and we can afford to continue to take her for the care she needs in Memphis on the biweekly basis until the surgeon decides her jaw is strong enough to be unwired. Our need is emergent and ongoing. Please help us to make sure that Angie continues to heal and continues to receive top notch medical care.

Angie's attacker is already being dealt with legally and will be held accountable for the costs, however we have no timeline as to when this person will face the court or when restitution and medical bills and expenses will be paid.
