Help for Angela Henson

Angela Henson of Narangba was involved in a house fire and explosion at around 3:30 am on 10/03/2023.

Angela has been seriously injured and was recently in an induced coma. The family home was gutted by fire and I’d like to help raise funds for Angela's recovery.

Angela and her children lost everything in the fire that night. All their clothing, memorabilia, Identification, phones, electronics etc. They will need to start from the beginning again. The funds will be withdrawn by me and distributed directly to Angela for her to use to purchase items that she and the kids might need to get their lives back on track.

I'm organising it on behalf of Angela as she isn't able to do this herself. She needs all the help she can get. I talk to her regularly and I can pass on messages to her. I was her employer before this event and I wanted to do something nice for her and the kids after I saw how badly they are impacted by this event. She was initially in a coma for the first week but now she is in the burns unit recovering from surgeries and treatment. Angela's recovery will be a long one, but she is healing well and her doctors are very happy with her progress so far.

The community has been wonderful so far and has donated clothing, gift cards, toys for the kids and other items. These additional funds will be a massive help for her and the kids to be able to purchase things that can't be donated like identification, phones, pay bills etc. The funds will also be used to assist her mum and sister in looking after her children while she is in hospital.

Angela would like everyone to know that she is very grateful for all the help that people have been giving her, her family and her kids.
