Hola me llamo Annabella Vidal y soy la hermana de Ángel Vidal. Muchos lo conocerán como Roca, otros como Bam Bam o Trucutru. Él es un valioso ser humano y siempre ha sido dado con todo el mundo, nunca le falta amor para compartir, seguramente ha sido en alguna oportunidad tu amigo, confidente, hermano, compadre, o hasta le has de ver como un papá. Para mí, mis hermanos lo son todo en mi vida.

Le pedía a Dios nunca tener que acudir a este medio, pero lamentablemente, el pasado viernes 18 de junio del año curso, 2021, mi hermano Ángel fue víctima de un accidente mientras iba en moto en la autopista camino a su casa desde su trabajo. Un camión F350 con remolque se cambió de su canal sin mirar al canal donde mi hermano se encontraba y fue embestido por un lateral de la moto, lo que ocasionó que él cayera de su moto y rodase por la autopista ocasionándole fuertes heridas y laceraciones punzantes en sus manos, espaldas, rodillas, piernas y pies, al igual que rupturas de ligamentos en sus dedos, pérdida de conocimiento temporal y mucho dolor.

Mi hermano tenía su casco, Dios es grande y la asistencia llegó rápido y algunos vehículos pudieron detenerse para auxiliarlo; una de esas personas fue la que me llamó para avisar del accidente. Ángel Armando fue trasladado al hospital Northside Hospital Gwinnett (en Lawrenceville,Georgia) donde fue diagnosticado y fue atendido por heridas de raspones profundos de carretera y quemaduras; su mano izquierda tiene daños de tendón y tuvo heridas abiertas en los dedos, aún luego de varias semanas en recuperación, tiene la mano inmovilizada esperando por un Cirujano especialista de manos para que sea intervenido en quirófano y así reconstruir su tendón.

Su seguro médico ya excede los gastos de la cobertura entre gastos de trauma, ambulancias, hospitalización, radiología y medicinas, por lo que hemos tenido que cubrir varios gastos nosotros. Esto nos coloca en una situación comprometedora ahora que hemos ido consumiendo nuestros ahorros, por lo que decidimos acudir a nuestros amigos y familiares para solicitar su apoyo en la medida de lo posible.

Aunque ya hemos abierto una disputa contra el seguro de la persona que arrolló a mi hermano, ese proceso puede tardar hasta 18 meses en resolverse, el hospital hace financieramente responsable a mi hermano por el total de los gastos.

Mi hermano es mecánico de motores y debido a la inhabilitación en sus manos, no podrá trabajar por un tiempo por orden médica. Su trabajo ya nos especificó que le dio de baja temporal y no pueden proporcionarle ningún tipo de adelanto de pago porque no cumple con el tiempo requerido para el beneficio, lo cual hace más cuesta arriba su situación. Aún requiere cirugía y terapia para que pueda estar rehabilitado en su totalidad.

En nombre de mi familia, espero poder llegar a cada uno de sus corazones y que con un poquito de ayuda económica o su granito de arena en compartir lograremos que mi hermano vuelva a ser el de antes.

I asked God never to have to go through this medium, but unfortunately, on Friday, June 18th of this year, my brother Angel was the victim of an accident while riding a motorcycle on the highway on his way home from work. An F350 truck with a trailer changed from its lane without looking at the lane where my brother was and he was hit on the side, which caused him to fall off his motorcycle and roll down the highway causing him severe injuries and sharp lacerations in his hands, back, knees, legs, and feet, as well as torn ligaments in his fingers, temporary loss of consciousness, and a lot of pain.

My brother had his helmet, God is great and the assistance came quickly and some vehicles were able to stop and help him; one of those people was the one who called me to report the accident. Angel Armando was transferred to Northside Hospital Gwinnett (in Lawrenceville, Georgia) where he was diagnosed and treated for injuries like deep road scrapes and burns; His left hand has tendon damage and also open wounds on his fingers, even after several weeks in recovery, he still has his hand immobilized waiting for tendon repair surgery from a specialist hand surgeon

His medical insurance already exceeds the expenses of the coverage between trauma, ambulance, hospitalization, radiology and medicine expenses, so we have had to cover several expenses ourselves. This puts us in a compromising situation now that we have been consuming our savings, so we decided to go to our friends and family to request their support as much as possible.

Although we have already opened a dispute against the insurance of the person who hit my brother, that process can take up to 18 months to resolve, the hospital holds my brother financially responsible for the total expenses.

my brother is a motor mechanic and due to the disability in his hands, he will not be able to work for a while due to a medical order. His work has already specified to us that he was on temporary leave and they cannot provide him with any type of advance payment because he does not meet the time required for the benefit, which makes his situation more difficult. He still requires surgery and therapy so that he can be fully rehabilitated.
