Hello my name is Ana Correa and I am starting this fundraiser to help an amazing 6th grade teacher, Jerri Chahon purchase a new AC Unit for her home. Jerri is an amazing person that has always helped others in ANY way she can without hesitation. She has always worked hard to achieve her goals and help her children achieve theirs. She never asks for herself but is ready to give to others. Recently she suffered an accident and was on bed rest for recovery unable to leave her home. During this time her AC broke down leaving her with no option for repair only to replace it. With medical co-pays and other expenses paying $8,000 to replace her AC was not possible so she did what she could afford. She purchased some individual units for the bedroom and other areas of house. With her home being an older home this caused yet another problem, electrical. Now another unexpected expense piled up, an upgrade to her breaker box so it could handle the units without losing power to her bedroom. On a single teacher's salary you can imagine this has not been easy.
Jerri was very hesitant about me doing this but I convinced her that there are people like me that want to help and are big supporter of Educators that work hard everyday with our children and help them be amazing adults This is a way to say "Thank You" to teachers like herself especially in a time of need.
