Fundraiser for Ames Grigg

If you’re reading this page, you’re probably already aware of who Ames is. They are an incredibly talented woodturner, woodworker, artist, aspiring ceramics artist and even an inventor. If you have not followed Ames’ story on Instagram , they have been experiencing some health issues for a few years now. The illness has made it impossible to continue working the way they had been. All of this has led to finally making the very difficult decision to sell their woodturning equipment to help pay the bills and because they simply can’t manage that kind of physical work anymore.

I created this fundraiser for Ames because they were one of my original wood turning inspirations and I want to help if I can.

I don’t know Ames personally, although I’ve chatted with them to make sure they’re okay with me doing this fundraiser.

This fund is not to pay for a specific medical issue or bill, but simply to help Ames make it through a tough time while being forced to move away from a craft that they love. Ames is looking forward to learning more about ceramics as it’s something that they love and will keep the creativity flowing while being much easier on the body.

My hope for this is that we can come together to help Ames and ease some of the pressure in what is surely a very stressful time.

This probably goes without saying, but 100% of proceeds (minus GoFundMe fees) go to Ames.
