Help for Amber and Danny Katzenstein after fire

Hello, this is Josh. My family and I are heart broken. On April 1, 2025 my sister Amber and her husband Dan Katzenstein's house burned down. Thankfully the entire family is safe. If God had not had his hand of protection over them, this would be a much different request for help.

Unfortunately, they DO NOT HAVE ANY INSURANCE so everything (except a few salvageable items) was a total loss. So, they are starting over from the bottom. They were working towards being able to sell the house and move, this past year they had spent all their savings remodeling the home in order to sell it and use the money to upgrade into a house more suitable for them. They spent over $60,000 of their money into the remodel. The realtor assured them the house would sell for at least 120,000 when it was appraised recently

I don't know how much money the are going to need, but I know they don't have any in the bank. They live paycheck to paycheck just like most other Americans. They have debt just like other people do. They are in a very desperate situation and need help if at all possible.

I wish I was rich; I would take care of this problem for my amazing, sweet, kind, beautiful, selfless little sister. I am not, but I hope that there are some others out here reading this that may be in a position to help. If you feel compelled to help. Please do, every little bit helps, there's no offering to small. If all you can offer is a prayer, then that is a wonderful gift. And hey, if God has blessed you financially and you got an extra house lying around that you don't need, I know a family that could really use it right now.

I was going to try and make a list but they have nothing, they don't even have pillows.

P.S. they have a little one year old Labrador dog that needs a place to stay until they can get a home.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I am setting up this Go fund me account to help my sweet sister Amber Katzenstein and brother in law Daniel Katzenstein and their beautiful children, who were blindsided on April 1st with the loss of their home, due to a fire and unexpected explosion.

We are incredibly grateful to God that all the family, including animals were able to get out in time... by the grace of God! We know God had his hand on them, and even during this confusing time we are trusting that "All things work together for good of them that Love the Lord", we are solely leaning on His strength

I am asking friends and family who feel compelled in their heart to give a donation or contribution to help this beautiful family. Most belongings are not salvageable. They did not have home owners insurance. It is a complete loss. All their belongings are gone.

If anyone knows Amber they know, like I do, she is a giver and she always works tirelessly helping everyone. She genuinely has a servants heart. My brother in law also works very hard to support the needs of his family.

My goal is to help them as much as possible and anything given will help to ease the challenge of recovery. We deeply appreciate your support. I know it will deeply touch the hearts of this beautiful family during one of their hardest times. If you cannot afford to give, please keep them in your prayers as we ask everyone to hold them up to God during this time and pray that "His peace that passes all understanding" will hold them closely.
