Amanda and Eric and their baby Emerald have been devastated by the Paradise fire. Amanda is in a severe state of shock and trauma since a flaming telephone pole almost fell on her car while she was evacuating with the baby. Eric was not with her at the time. They all made it out safely, though only barely. The town has been decimated.

Anyone who is fortunate enough to call Amanda and Eric friends will know that these two are the kindest and most generous folks you could ever meet. They have enriched the lives of so many people through hosting beautiful gatherings for friends and family. They are always willing to open their home to friends and share a meal.

Amanda is a small business owner, artist, and fashion designer. Eric served our country in the Air Force, earned his bachelor's and master's degrees, and is now a teacher. They are amazing parents to baby Emerald and a gift to their community. They are facing the loss of their home, belongings, personal property, and Amanda's business supplies and shop inventory. The school in Paradise where Eric was teaching has been burned to the ground, as was every school in town.

Please donate what you can to help them during this time. Even the smallest amount will help, since they will be completely rebuilding their life from the ground up. Any money raised will go directly to the family to help with necessities for the baby, food, gas, housing, clothing, health expenses, and any other costs associated with the devastation of the fire.

Additional information: I am a friend of Amanda and have known her for 10 years. The Forresters have been wonderful friends to us over the years. Starting this campaign is the least I can do to help them now, in their time of need.
