Help For Alicia Hernandez

Hi, my name is Paola Torres and I am Manager of School Culture at CWC Mar Vista. I am asking for help for my colleague Alicia Hernandez who was in a terrible car accident this weekend that will prevent her from working for at least a couple weeks. She is going to need surgery and will need to cover her own medical expenses because she does not have medical coverage. Alicia has been at CWC, Mar Vista for 5 years, and has strong and relationships with so many students on campus. While she is paid as a teaching assistant, she often functions as a full on teacher, lesson planning in Social Emotional Learning, Science, Mathematics, and behavior support. She is a vital part of our campus community and has continued to work here because she loves the students so much. This is our opportunity to show her how much we love her too.
