My Father is suffering from Severe Obstructive Multi Arterial Disease (90-95% of compromised), that have compromising his kidneys by 89%.  The only treatment available is Open Heart Surgery,  possibly followed by Dialysis.  The surgery is Urgent, due to little amount of non obstructed arteries, as per the cardiologist ( to whom, we have to collect the money from family members to pay out of pocket/privately , due to the difficulty to see a doctor from the public health system).  At this time, he is on a waiting list from the public health system in Brazil, hoping to be called for the surgery as soon as possible.  Lately, he started to have severe chest pain which prevents him from doing almost anything, including sleeping. Also, he is getting weaker everyday and some days he is not  even able to stand up from bed. The doctor advised us that he can have a heart attack at any moment and his heart may not resist it because it's too weak. If he is able to do the surgery, he'll  have a great chance to recover well and have a normal life again.  Here is where this GoFundMe can help him / us to gather the money for the surgery and change this story to a positive outcome, giving him another chance to live.
