Please help Alana Donovan

Hi friends. As some of you may know I have a niece who has been battling Cancer for the past 4 years, and has run out of treatment options, resulting in a prognosis of 3-6 months.

Alana Donovan is a courageous beautiful young woman who shortly after her and my nephew Mitch’s wedding, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, which eventually spread to her brain. She has bravely fought through years of varied treatments including; many rounds of radiation, oral chemo, etc, plus numerous surgeries (including 2 awake brain surgeries).

It’s a very scary time for them now. Alana is suffering through night terrors, lack of appetite, side effects from new medications etc. Mitch is staying home as Alana’s full time caregiver and as such they are struggling financially.

People have asked me if there is anything they can do. One feels so helpless when wonderful people are going through such devastating and heartbreaking circumstances. With this in mind I created this GoFundMe page.

This is not the first fundraiser for them, so if you’ve been able to help in the past, please don’t feel obligated to do so again. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
