Help for AJ Clay and his family

My name is Erin Akinyemi and I am the mother of Aj Clay. First and foremost , I would like to thank each and everyone of you that have donated thus far. Since his accident (6-29-18), the money that was given was used for gas, food and lodging while Aj was in the hospital. We were told that he would be in the hospital for almost a year and to start making arrangements for treatment once he goes home. So I was thinking that I would have to move closer to Dallas and find another job but when July 30th came around, the doctors were telling me that I need to bring my son home. With that being said, he still had a feeding tube, face wired shut and stitches in different areas. He he has been under my care for almost 4 weeks now, I have missed hours (barely getting 27 hours a week) due to me taking hear back-and-forth to Dallas for his appointments and watching him over night just incase I have to take him to the ER(which he had to go within 4 days of having him home). I am making 2-3 trips a week to Dallas paying for gas, meds, equipment, copays, labs and other services. I was just told today that he needs to start therapy since his left leg is healing very well. So now I have to see about getting him seen to help him with different techniques( such as a prosthetic leg and physical therapy) to help him walk again.

I’m writing to you to ask you to support us while we wait for the state to steps in and start covering all the stuff he needs.
The recovery process for us is long and difficult. As a result of this accident , Aj has been declared disable. This will prevent him from earning any income during this extended recovery stage. It will be extremely hard for him to support himself as well as cover towering medical expenses he’s incurred from this unforeseen circumstance.
