Help for Adilynn

Adilynn Mediavilla was born July 13th at 6:01 pm at only 35weeks. She was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease which is generally fatal to all that are born with it. Shortly after birth she was Trama-Hawked to Miami Children's (Nicklaus Children's Hospital) from Palms West Hospital for treatment. At birth her lung collapsed and she lost oxygen to her brain resulting in minor brain damage. They fixed her lung and she is currently using a ventilator for the extra help. As well as her lungs being small her kidneys are 3 times the size they are supposed to be and do not function. Currently she is on abdominal dialysis and we have our fingers crossed that it continues to work until she is ready for a kidney transplant (after one year of age and over 22 pounds).
