Hurricane OTIS category 5 hits Acapulco
The most devastating that has hit the Mexican Pacific, with wind gust of 250km/h to 315km/h. Within 10 hours OTIS went from a tropical storm to a hurricane category 5 destroying everything in its way.
Hundreds of people have lost their homes and many others have died taken away by the water currents and wind.
We are trying to gather enough resources and volunteers to go and do what’s needed, your support will ensure that we can acquire enough food, tools and make a difference in this natural disaster. Our team leader in Acapulco is Luis Juangorena. He has been working various years as a leader in a famous European enterprise and is now back in his hometown Acapulco.
Our charity organization is called “proPoors en pro de los pobres A.C.” helping dignifying lives. proPoors means in favor of needy people and has been founded in 2015 in Acapulco, where it is registered. My name is Jovita Cavigelli and I am Swiss. I am the founder and the president of the Nonprofit charity organization. Most time I am living in Acapulco, where we have been running various charity projects. You’ll find more information in Google if you look up “Jovita Cavigelli Acapulco”. Right know I am in Switzerland. Soon I’ll be returning to Acapulco.
The funds we are rising will go to our bank account in Switzerland. From there they will be transferred to our bank account at Santander Mexico/Acapulco. La más devastadora que ha azotado el Pacífico mexicano, con rachas de 250 km/h a 315 km/h. En 10 horas OTIS pasó de tormenta tropical a huracán categoría 5 que ha destruido todo a su paso. Miles de personas han perdido sus hogares y muchas otras han muerto arrebatadas por las corrientes de agua y el viento.
Estamos tratando de reunir suficientes recursos y voluntarios para ir y hacer lo que sea necesario; su apoyo garantizará que podamos adquirir suficientes alimentos, agua potable, medicina y herramientas y marcar la diferencia en este desastre natural.
Luis Juangorena es el encargado de los voluntarios en Acapulco. Luis una persona de nuestra confianza, originario de Acapulco, por varios años a trabajado en Europa en una empresa famosa y se regreso a su pais de origen.
El nombre de nuestra asociación civil es “proPoors en pro de los pobres A.C.” y radica en Acapulco donde fue fundada en 2015.
Mi nombre es Jovita Cavigelli, de origen Suiza. Soy la fundadora y presidente de pro Poors, una organización sin fines de lucro. La major parte del tiempo vivo en Acapulco. Actualmente me encuentro en Suiza recaudando fondos. Ya pronto será planeado mi regreso.
