Help for Aaron, Brandy and kids.

Hello friends, family, co workers, and those we may have never met. My name is Candi Palmer and my family and I are sharing this story in hopes to raise money to help my brother and his wife at this time. They have endured A LOT this past year, physically, emotionally and financially. They are both very prideful and hardworking so it took a lot to finally get them to allow us to do this.

In the past year my brother and his wife have both been in and out of the hospital. It started with my brother having issues with stage 4 liver disease. It was starting to progress with issues when he also needed to have several hernias repaired AND his gall bladder removed. While enduring pain and coughing up blood, his wife Brandy got really sick. After 3 different trips to the ER, they finally found a huge blood clot near the abdominal aorta blocking blood flow to the intestines( this was going on for several weeks). She had several procedures, and this is still an on going issue. On top of all that, Aaron had fell off their front porch and reinjured his back where he had already had surgery years prior. So, while Brandy was in the hospital he was recovering from back surgery. Oh, and I forgot to mention, Aaron got Covid and was admitted to the hospital. It was pretty scary there for a while .

Fast forward past many appointments, banding procedures in the esophagus, busted varicose veins in Aaron's legs and the fact that he has to have fluid removed from his abdomen weekly now from his "angry" liver seeping, he is currently back in the hospital recovering from the TIPS surgery. They bypassed the liver and put a stent in to basically buy him more time until a transplant.

Back in August Aaron was given the statement "You have six months to live". Since then he has been in and out of the hospital and still trying to meet criteria for the liver transplant. This has been a very stressful time on the whole family. Brandy has basically stepped up and taken on every role possible to care for my brother, their 2 kids, animals and the home. She can't fully work and bills are piled up and overdue.

We are hoping to raise this money to help take some of the financial burden from them, while Aaron is literally fighting for his life. Any amount of donation helps and we are grateful for it.
