Help for a young Mother with cancer

Donation protected

I am starting this Gofundme for Jasmine Vidrine. She is a 24-year-old mother and wife. She has 5 Amazing children, one of which is special needs. Sadly, her family needs your help.

At the beginning of 2019, she and her fiance were as happy as could be. They were engaged to be married and busy trying to plan a wedding, which would later turn out to be one of the best days of their lives. Or so they thought..

Although her husband and herself have 5 children combined, they really wanted a chance to try for one together. At first, it was a feeling of “if it happens, it happens’’, it soon turned into “They really want a child with each other”. In January of 2019, She found out She was already 4 months pregnant. They were ecstatic! They decided to wait until the right time to tell Their families. Little did they know, they wouldn’t get the chance. On February 2, 2019, Sadly, she miscarried. It was one of the saddest days she ever experienced in her entire life. Her Fiancé was devastated. they had their son Kohen Joel Vidrine, cremated. He sits up high in their home and lives in their hearts every single day. She returned to work a week later. After her first day back at work she returned home and her fiancé was back home from his 14-day hitch at work. She kicked off her work shoes so she could slide her slippers on in order to start preparing supper.... she started to hemorrhage. She immediately went pale and weak. Her children and father had to stand by and watch her Fiancé carry her limp body wrapped in a towel, out to the car to rush her to the hospital. This, in fact, was the worst day of her entire life.

February 8, 2019, she was rushed into emergency surgery. Upon waking up in a hospital room, she was diagnosed with stage 2 Cervical cancer. She was told she would need another surgery and treatments. She decided to wait till after her big day. She wanted everyone to think about their marriage on Their wedding day, not her cancer. So they told nobody outside of the family. Happily, they were married on April 6, 2019. The happiness was short-lived. 5 days after their wedding day, she went into surgery to have her cancer removed. she then spent the next 8 months doing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. In December of 2019, she was told she was in remission!!!

She and her family spent the next few months feeling grateful for this second chance she had at life!

After a vacation to Florida in March of 2020, She started feeling a lot of pain in her lower abdomen which she tried to put off as being normal after having many surgeries and treatments. Until it got way worse. She decided to finally take a trip to the doctor, only to be told that she now had another cancerous cyst on her ovary. It was big but not super alarming. With Covid-19 happening, they couldn’t get her into an OR. So they decided they would see her back in 3 months. Monday, July 6th, 2020 she was told She went from stage 1 to stage 3 in only 3 months!!!! It's very aggressive and she needed surgery ASAP!! Unfortunately, Medicaid will NOT cover her due to being married and her husband has insurance offered by his company. Also, unfortunately, his insurance refuses to add her to his plan until next year.. she doesn’t have a year to wait. This is life or death for her at this point. She has to be there to care for her amazing children. She refuses to leave them without a mother this early in their lives. For 2 of her children, their father has never been a part of their lives by his own choosing. Her husband hasn’t adopted them due to their father not signing over his rights. She cannot have her babies sent somewhere they aren't loved because She was taken too soon.

So please, I know everyone is struggling right now financially but if you can find it in your hearts to donate, you'd be helping to literally save her life and her family could spend more time with their Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt!

Nobody at any age should have to go through this but for a 24-year-old at the beginning of her life is horrible

Thank You all from the deepest parts of my heart and her family.
