Help a Public Health Student in Vietnam

This recent photo shows graduate students in a study group in Public Health at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam. Five students’ attention is focused on one available laptop computer. It is difficult to learn to use a computer by only watching someone else.

Five years ago this reality inspired MEDRIX President, Robert Catherman, to initiate the MEDRIX laptop scholarship. Eligible candidates for the scholarships must:

• show high academic potential,

• come from economically disadvantaged families.

In May,2024, MEDRIX plans to provide a laptop computer for another deserving student. Your donation of any amount toward a laptop scholarship will support a dedicated medical student in completing their education and then continuing on to improve the health of their Vietnamese community for years to come.
