In 2024, I took a bold step for my future. I started tertiary education on a partial-tuition scholarship to study at the African Leadership University in Kigali, Rwanda. I am pursuing an undergraduate Degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership, with a mission in the grand challenge of Governance in Africa. I have started my 2nd year. Before University, I served as a child-leader in my home country, Sierra Leone, as a member of the Children’s Forum Network, which is the country’s umbrella child-led advocacy organization. My passion for social impact started at age 10, and as a child-leader then, I was inspired by my background and personal story to contribute to creating a Sierra Leone that is fit for every child. That is my story, last year when I took the step to further my studies after graduating from secondary school back in 2021, I had the support of 21 generous people who supported me directly with their resources, and I had over 50 people indirectly contribute by sharing my fundraising link to their networks, and I was able to raise $4,650 for my first year. The journey started with my generous benefactors. I am still on the road, and I am yet to reach my destination, which is why I am again seeking your generous support to continue this journey.
