Hi, my name is Flynn, I’m 12 years old, and I’ve been growing my hair for a long time and I am going to shave it on September 27th, not just for a new look, but to raise money for Pseudomyxoma Survivor, a small but powerful non-profit group run by patients and caregivers to support people affected by Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP).
Why I’m Doing This?
In 2022, when I was just 9 years old, my mum was diagnosed with PMP—a rare cancer that affects only 1–2 people per million, often starting in the appendix. Since then, she’s had three major surgeries, chemotherapy, and our whole family has had to be really brave.
I want to do something that helps other families going through what we’ve been through. By raising money, I hope to support vital research that could lead to better treatments—and maybe even a cure.
Where Your Donation Goes
Your support will help fund:
• Groundbreaking research into PMP and appendix cancer
• Support services for patients and families
• Awareness campaigns to help others understand this rare disease.
Pseudomyxoma Survivor is making a real difference—but they need help to keep going.
How You Can Help?
Please consider donating to my fundraiser. Every dollar helps, and every share spreads the word. Together, we can support families like mine and bring hope to people living with PMP.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support
