We are have an opportunity to fly Pops and Phoebe to Canada June 10 , along with our other 8 meat trade survivors. The goal of $10,000 also covers the Canadian import tax on each one of our dogs that is taking this freedom flight. It helps clear our broker fees and our transportation costs, hotel fees, and flights to and from Seattle to meet all of our sweet survivors at the border. We have asked our amazing adopters to step up to cover the 3800 freedom flight fee. Which they have done with a great amount of stress, we now need to give that final push to get everybody home safe and sound by covering these expenses.
Pops and Phoebe are a bonded pair of poodle mixes that rely heavily on each other for emotional support. So adopting them out separately is not an option. They are super sweet and well-adjusted but they need to be adopted together. They love all humans both big and small and are extremely dog friendly. Any home would be lucky to have this dynamic duo.
Pops and Phoebe were rescued off of the meat truck in China, and taken in by a sweet lady who had about 15 other meat trade survivors in her house. She was worried that the police would be called in China because of the amount of dogs she had. Unfortunately the policy in China is to either confiscate them or shoot them on site. So she reached out to us and we agreed to take 8 of them in our care. We had them admitted into our veterinary hospital in Beijing, once they were medically cleared they were moved to our safehaven. Please help us help them!!!!!
