Meet our little family. Josh, Jo, Tiga and Luna. We have been a family of four over a year now ever since we found Tiga tied up with a chain digging deep into his neck that was no longer than 30cm, his owner was abusive and did not want this beautiful pup. As soon as we saw his big scared eyes, we couldn’t just pass by and leave him there. He quickly became part of our family.
3 then became 4 a few weeks later, when his new little sister Luna was found wondering the streets for food. She had been left to fend for herself. She was starving and in need of food and water. All Bali Dogs have a hard life out here, but for a tiny little pup like Luna it was especially hard.
Tiga and Luna have been living their best Bali life since we fell in love with them and gave them a safe and loving home. They now enjoy long beach walks, scooter rides, Tiga loves surfing the waves while Luna is digging holes in the sand. They snuggle up with us every night and even join us during meditation.
Reality hit when we realised this could all come an end. We have to leave Bali and head back to Europe and we couldn’t imagine doing this without them by our side. Unfortunately the fees for our babies to come home with us are more than we are able to afford at this time. Due to government regulations in Bali, exporting dogs from Bali is a long and costly process.
Prices can be as high as $5000! After searching and searching we have found an amazing company who is able to help us get them to Europe for 2500 GPB. This coves the cost of them being safely put onto a flight in approved crates, food, flight costs, and airport transfer, having someone by their side to watch over them and legal documentation.
Our last resort, if we are unable to fund this, would be to try to find them a new home in Bali, or a shelter. Finding them a new home is extremely hard and unlikely due to Bali having such a large dog population and so many already up for adoption with no luck.
This is where we need your help. We are unable to cover all of the 2500 GBP on our own. If you could spare that few pounds from your morning coffee, or that extra beer and help us out in any way possible, even by sharing our story, it would mean the world to us. But even more to Tiga and Luna who never want to go back to living that scared, unsure and unloved way of life again.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and we hope to see you all in Europe soon!
